What is Laser Skin Resurfacing?
Skin resurfacing with a laser at Ciao Bella Medical Spa is a noninvasive aesthetic treatment that employs pulsating beams of light to exfoliate dead and damaged skin cells one layer at a time. This procedure is used to address facial lines and wrinkles and for diminishing skin blemishes, including acne scars, pigmentation, and other issues. Laser skin resurfacing with the Harmony XL PRO device is an excellent procedure for people who want clearer, softer, younger-looking skin. Based on the needs of the patient, the treatment can be customized accordingly. There is some downtime required with the majority of laser skin resurfacing treatments. Any questions or concerns you have can be discussed with Dr. Jon Ricks during a consultation in Frisco, TX.

Laser Skin Resurfacing FAQ
How much does laser skin resurfacing with the Harmony XL PRO cost?
Your laser resurfacing cost will vary based on the treatment you choose. In your consultation, Dr. Ricks will listen to your skin problems and concerns before explaining the types of resurfacing. Then, he can help you select your treatment and talk to you about costs.
How can I help my skin recover after a resurfacing treatment?
Dr. Ricks or a member of his staff will explain how you can help your skin heal following your laser appointment. The main rule is not to peel or pick your skin. Doing this could create long-term damage, like scars. You need to forgo all hair removal methods on the treated skin, which includes shaving, waxing, or depilatory creams. We can recommend creams to help soothe and heal your skin.
How often should I get laser resurfacing treatments?
Depending on the laser resurfacing type you and Dr. Ricks choose for your treatment, you might need to wait weeks or even months between appointments. Deeper laser treatments will give you results that last a long time; however, they will require more time for recovery. You should tell Dr. Ricks about how frequently you are willing to return for treatments so he can take this into account when choosing a type of resurfacing during your initial consultation.
